These are apps developed by Google which are available on Android Market or Google Play Store. Listed below are Google apps for Android.

These apps are developed by Google for its Android based smartphones. Some of these apps may be pre-installed on some devices. All these are available on Google Play Store for free download.

1.  YouTube

YouTube needs no introduction. A video sharing app. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.

2.   Chrome Browser

Google Chrome is a freeware web browser developed by Google. One of the most popular browser for Android. With Chrome browser you can  Sync Across Devices, save data, have faster browsing, find answers with voice search and translate web page in any language.

3.   Google Photos

Google Photos is a photograph and video sharing and storage service by Google. The new Google Photos includes unlimited photo and video storage, and apps for Android and the browser. Users back up their photos to the cloud service, and become accessible between all of their devices connected to the service.

4.   Google Play Games

Google Play Games is an online gaming service and SDK operated by Google for the Android operating system. It features real-time multiplayer gaming capabilities, cloud saves, social and public leaderboards, achievements, and anti-piracy features. You can compete with friends, track your achievements, and pick up wherever you left off, on any of your devices.

5.   Google Now Launcher

The Google Now launcher is the obvious pick for anybody looking for pure, clean Android user interface experience.

6.   Google Translate

Google Translate is a free multilingual statistical machine translation service provided by Google.  You can type to translate 90 languages, use your camera to translate text instantly in 26 languages, draw with your finger as a keyboard alternative etc.

7.   Google Indic Keyboard

Developed for Indian users. Google Indic Keyboard allows you to type messages, update on social networks or compose emails in your own native language on your Android phone. Currently it includes the following keyboards:

Google Sheets is spreadsheet. You create, edit, and collaborate with others on spreadsheets from your Android phone or tablet with the free Google Sheets app. With Google Sheets you can:

– Create new spreadsheets or edit any that were created on the web or on another device.
– Share spreadsheets and work together with others in the same spreadsheet at the same time.
– Open, edit, and save Microsoft Excel files.
– Get stuff done anytime — even without an internet connection.
– Format cells, enter/sort data, view charts, insert formulas, use find/replace, and more.
– Never worry about losing your work — everything is automatically saved as you type.

10.  Google PDF Viewer

PDF viewer by Google offers the same capabilities in a standalone app. You can view, print, search and copy text from pdf documents while you’re on the go.

11.   Google Play Books

Google Play Books (formerly Google eBooks) is a cross-platform ebook application offered by Google. Users can purchase and download ebooks from Google Play, which offers over 5 million ebooks and as such is the world’s largest ebookstore.

12.  Google 

Google app for Android is an app to search the web on your phone or tablet, you can use your voice to search and get personalized results based on your location.

13.  Google Handwriting Input

Google Handwriting Input allows you to handwrite text on your phone or tablet in 82 languages. It supports printed and cursive writing, with or without a stylus. Google Handwriting Input also supports hundreds of emojis, so you can express yourself in any Android app.

14.  Inbox by Gmail

Inbox by gmail keep your emails organized and helps you get back to what matters. It highlights  most important information without even opening the message. App bundles similar messages together to deal at once. You can add Reminders so your inbox contains all the things you need to get back to.

15.  Google Camera

Google Camera uses the power of your smartphone with features like HDR+, Lens Blur, Wide Angle, Panorama and Photo Sphere to create stunning photographic effects.

16.  Google Drive

Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service created by Google. It allows users to store files in the cloud, share files, and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with collaborators.

17.  Google Play Music

A music player by Google. Google Play Music is a music streaming service and online music locker operated by Google. You can download music to your device and listen when you’re not connected.

18.  Google Play Newsstand

A news and magazines based app for your Android tablet or phone. Latest news,breaking news and in-depth articles featuring audio, video and more.

19.  Google+

Google+ is an interest-based social network.  Connect with people who share your interests.

20. Google Keyboard

Keyboard software by Google. Having features like gesture typing, voice typing, word completion suggestions, automatic corrections, and next-word prediction, etc.

21.  Maps

Google Maps is a mapping service developed by Google. It offers satellite imagery and street maps having comprehensive and accurate maps in 220 countries and territories. Voice-guided GPS navigation for driving, biking, and walking.

22.  Snapseed

Snapseed is a photo-editing application. Snapseed users can edit pictures using swiping gestures to select different effects and enhancements. Alternatively, users can opt for an “automatic” adjustment of color and contrast.

Android Device Manager locates lost devices and helps you keep your device—and the data inside it—safe and secure.

Google Hangouts is a communication platform developed by Google which includes instant messaging, video chat, SMS and VOIP features.  You can message friends, start free video or voice calls, and hop on a conversation with one person or a group.

27.  Google Play Movies & TV

Google Play Movies & TV is an online video on demand service operated by Google. Movies and television shows can be viewed on the Google Play website or via the Google Play Movies & TV application. You can watch your favorite movies and shows instantly on your Android phone or tablet, or on any HDTV using Chromecast. You can also download and watch from anywhere, even when you’re not connected.

28.  Google Slides

Google slides is a  presentation program. You create, edit, and collaborate with others on presentations from your Android phone or tablet with the free Google Slides app. With Google Slides you can:

– Create new presentations or edit any that were created on the web or on another device.
– Share presentations and work together with others in the same presentation at the same time.
– Open, edit, and save Microsoft PowerPoint files.

29.  Messenger

Messenger from Google is a communications app that helps you send and receive SMS and MMS messages to any phone. You can also send group texts as well as your favorite pictures, videos and even audio messages to your contacts.

30.  Google Keep

Google Keep is a note taking application developed by Google.Speak a voice memo on the go and have it automatically transcribed. Grab a photo of a poster, receipt or document and easily organize or find it later in search.

31.  Gmail

Gmail is a free, advertising-supported email service provided by Google. Users may access Gmail as secure webmail, as well as via POP3 or IMAP4 protocols. You can get your messages instantly via push notifications, read and respond online & offline, and find any message quickly.

32.  Chromecast
