Google says in its video that Gmail Blue is faster then standard Gmail look. But, that is not true at all it was just an April fool prank by Google. Chrome extension which we use just change it’s look and color not the performance or speed.
Here is the screenshot of Gmail BLUE looks like which I have applied to my account recently. But now I am planing to revert back to it’s standard look because I feel uncomfortable in this color.
Read: How to make Gmail in Blue color.
Here are the steps to revert back to standard look:
Step #1 :
Open setting tab in Google Chrome browser where you have installed the Gmail Blue chrome extension. Options > Tools >Extensions, click on it.
Step #2:
After you click on the Extensions it will open a new window where you have options to Disable and Enable check box and even the option to delete with click on icon.
Just refresh your browser once and revert back to your old standard look. In-case if you want to disable this blue temporary just un-check that Enabled check box.
Note and conclusion:
Re-open the browser and access Gmail again to see change from Gmail Blue to standard Gmail look.
