Does “None” and “Slide” Screen lock not working in your Android device. Is it showing a message ‘Disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage’. 

This could have happened because of following reasons –

  • Due to permissions given to Android device administrator. Some Device administrators allow limited screen security options.
  • Due to credentials installed in your device. Credentials are mostly used for creating VPN (Virtual Private Network) for privacy and security reasons.

How to fix lock screen problem:

Method 1:

  1. Open settings of your Android device.
  2. Look for option called security. Tap on it.

  3. Check for option called ‘Device administrator’.

  4. Tap on activated device manager.

  5. Deactivate the device manager.

Method 2:

  1. Open settings of your device.
  2. Look for option called security. Tap on it.

  3. Check for option called ‘Clear credentials’.

  4. Tap on it to clear credentials.

Now you can set slide or none screen security in your Android device
